Around GBC, we call our senior saints Young at Heart. God has used and continues to use this ministry is a number of ways.  First, God uses the senior adults to minister to young and old alike.  On one day you might find them stuffing shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child, and on the next you could find them visiting our shut-ins.  Also, God has used this ministry as a means of fellowship and friendship.  Our Young at Hearts have taken trips to places such as Carver’s Apple Orchard, Mt. Airy, NC, and a number of other locations.
